Directions to IWMF 2007


Public Transportation:
The festival site is accessible by both Iowa City Transit and the University of Iowa's Cambus lines. City Park is serviced by the Manville Heights IC Transit bus line, which departs from Old Capitol Mall on Washington street in downtown Iowa City at :15 past the hour from 7am to 7pm on Saturdays. All other Iowa City and Coralville bus lines converge here, and passengers can transfer to the Manville Heights line. Bus rides are .75, and transfers are free. The site is also served by the Blue and Red Cambus lines, which are free. Expect these bus lines to be crowded during the day on Saturday - they also serve Kinnick Stadium. Macbride Hall is located on the north side of the Pentacrest, north of Old Capitol Mall.

By Car:
A limited amount of free parking will be reserved for the daytime portion of the festival in the City Park parking lot.

Directions to Upper City Park from I-80:
Exit at Dubuque Street and head south toward Iowa City. Turn Right at Park Rd. The entrance to Upper City Park
is on the right (second right). Look for signs directing you to the festival once
you are in the park. You should be able to see/hear it happening at that point.

From Iowa route 218/I-380:
Exit at Riverside Drive and head north. Just past Iowa Avenue, follow North Riverside Drive as it veers to the right.
Turn right at Park Road, then left into Upper City Park.
Look for signs directing you to the festival once you are in the park.

You can park in Hancher's parking lot if you can not find a spot in Upper or Lower City Park. Hancher Auditorium is across the street from City Park.
